Halfaya oilfield is an oilfield situated in the southern part of Iraq, 35 km southeast
of Amarah City (Capital of the Missan Governorate). The field is a NW-SE trending
anticline structure about 30 km long, 10 km wide, with a total area of about 288

3. Social Insurance and Pension Act
PetroChina’s contractors must inform Missan Social Insurance and Pension Department
of their contracts with PetroChina. The information must be provided to the said
Department at least 3 (three) days prior to the contract commencement date.
PetroChina’s Contractors are also responsible to inform Missan Social Insurance
and Pension Department of all subcontracts signed with other contractors under the
main contracts entered with PetroChina. The information must be provided to the
said Department at least 3 (three) days prior to commencement date of the sub-contract.
PetroChina have the right to withhold contractor’s due payments until the contractor
provides a clearance certificate/letter issued by the Missan Social Insurance and
Pension Department
From 1st January 2018, bidders are requested to submit Registration Certificate
of Iraq Branch along with technical proposals if the Scope of Work consists of any
physical activities in Iraq, otherwise the proposal will be rejected.

Please note that PetroChina Halfaya has terminated the service contract with ISNetworld since 14th Dec. 2021. All vendors can now register directly in our website(https://eprocurement.petrochina-hfy.com) and no annual registration fee will be charged. And we take no responsibility for your any payment to ISNetworld.
